Ami Mochi is a family-run, small-batch accessories studio based in Yokohama, Japan — creating gentle, expressive pieces inspired by seasonal shifts, natural textures, and everyday comfort.

What began as a creative family project has grown into a dedicated handmade studio, where every scrunchie is crocheted or sewn slowly, intentionally, and with a shared love for craft.

We work with premium Japan-made materials, including Amerry yarn by Hamanaka and curated Japanese fabrics, crafting each piece in our Yokohama home studio.

Our name carries our spirit:
“Ami” — 編み — to knit or weave
“Mochi” — a symbol of softness, comfort, and warmth

Together, they express a style that is modern, soft, and quietly joyful — a reflection of the warmth within our family and the gentleness we hope to pass along through each piece.
