Yes — every Ami Mochi scrunchie is handcrafted in Yokohama, Japan, using Japan-made yarns and curated fabrics.

Small variations in size, texture, or colour are natural and part of the handmade charm.

What materials do you use?

Our products are made with premium Japan-made yarns, high-quality textiles, and limited fabrics carefully selected for softness and comfort.

How big are the scrunchies?

Each scrunchie is approximately 12 cm in diameter (unstretched).

Because they are handmade, small variations may occur.

Do you keep items in stock?

Yes — we keep a small ready-made stock for each design so most orders ship quickly.

Do you offer made-to-order?

Yes. Our pieces are created in small batches, and select items may be made to order depending on availability.

For larger quantities, corporate gifting, or special requests, please contact us before purchasing so we can discuss production timelines and arrangements.

How long is the processing time?

  • In-stock items: 1–3 business days
  • Made-to-order items: 3–7 business days

Where do you ship from?

All orders are shipped from Yokohama, Japan.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide from Japan.

International orders qualify for free shipping on orders over ¥9,800.

Shipping rates and delivery times vary by destination and will be calculated at checkout.

How long does shipping take?

  • Japan: 1–3 days
  • Asia: 4–10 days
  • US / Europe / Australia: 7–14 days

Will I be charged customs or import taxes?
