A second series begins.

Where Blue Romance carries the softness of a quiet sky, Nocturne finds its voice somewhere else — in the stillness after dark, in the space between shadow and stillness.

This first piece in the series is a black cotton scrunchie printed with pale florals, finished by hand with our Ami Edgework — this time worked in a textured black yarn that gives the piece weight and quiet presence.

Fabric Story
A soft cotton in ink black, printed with pale florals — the print reading almost like an old botanical sketch or a garden pressed against the dark. The pattern is quiet enough to wear every day, yet distinct enough to feel considered.

Colour Story
Ink black, with hand-drawn florals in soft white. Nothing bright, nothing loud — a palette held in restraint.

Ami Edgework, in a Different Voice
Where our Blue Romance pieces carry Ami Edgework as fine, delicate lace, Nocturne asks for something else. Here, the edge is worked in a textured yarn that reads almost like wool — a fuller, more tactile finish that meets the weight of the fabric. The technique is the same. The expression, different.

Materials
Fabric: cotton, Japan.
Yarn: textured black yarn from ITORICOT — a Japanese yarn shop we deeply respect for their thoughtful selection, including their work with leftover industrial yarns from knitting factories.

Handmade in Japan.

Size
Approximately 11–12 cm in diameter when relaxed.

Availability
Nocturne / 01 is part of a small, finite series. Five pieces are made to order. Once complete, this design retires quietly, and a new piece takes its place.
